So It Lasts Collection · 18 numbered pieces.

For the choice you keep making. Two locks. Closed on purpose.

Made for one person. Not “someone.”

Quilled by artisan hands in Vietnam. Designed and edition-managed in Melbourne.

What arrives

  • The piece — hand-quilled, and numbered by hand.
  • Its envelope — made to carry it.
  • A wax seal — self-adhesive, to close it by hand.
  • A dust bag — to keep it, long after it’s been given.

How to give it

  1. Open the piece. Take a moment before you write.
  2. Write to them. Not to “someone.” One true sentence is enough.
  3. Slip it into its envelope.
  4. Press the wax seal over the flap. Now it’s theirs to open.
  5. Give it in person, if you can. Hand it over slowly.

Once it’s been read, the dust bag keeps it safe between readings.

There's a moment in every lasting relationship that nobody photographs.

It isn't the first date or the wedding. It's quieter than that. It's the morning you realise you've stopped weighing your options — not because you're trapped, but because you've decided. The question closed. The lock turned.

After that, love stops being something that happens to you and becomes something you do. You choose them on the boring Tuesdays. You choose them mid-argument. You choose them again at breakfast, without ceremony, the way you have a thousand times before.

This piece is for that choice. Two locks, quilled closed. Not trapped — chosen.

Symbolism
The lock is not a cage. A cage holds you against your will. A lock closed from the inside is a decision.
For
Spouses. Fiancés. Lifelong partners. Twins. Siblings who never needed to explain themselves to each other. The best friend of thirty years. The soulmate, in whatever form they arrived.

Relationship stage: The love that has stopped being a question.
Occasions
Anniversaries. Vow renewals. The day you propose — or the day you realise you're going to. Or no occasion at all, which is somehow the strongest version.
